Let me introduce myself: I am Robert Poort.
After graduating as a business economist, I worked in the financial sector for a while. Because I found it boring to parade around in a suit and tie, I started looking for what I really like to do. I love technology and making people happy.
For example, one day I found an outboard motor on a dock, which had ended up under the surface of the water. At home I repaired it and then sold it. That was the beginning of Poort Watersport in 2003.
Since then, I have built up 10 years of experience in repairing and maintaining inboard and outboard engines. Diesel engines and gasoline engines of canal boats, but also engines of sailing boats and larger ships.
I do a lot of tinkering on location in and around Amsterdam on different brands of engines. I have a lot of experience with engines that have been under water. You can contact us for all your repairs and maintenance of inboard and outboard engines. In addition, we have a network of business customers who can support you on location in your hometown in the Netherlands.

Often I recognize the engine of which you need parts right away and therefore I can help you quickly and efficiently. Usually you will have the desired parts the very next day. If a part does not meet your expectations, you can return it and the amount will be credited.
I am also creative in finding parts that are no longer available. We have a stock of used parts. However, parts from another brand can also be a suitable solution. We supply both imitation parts and original parts for various brands of inboard and outboard engines.
